Hi all.
Audacity 1.3.5 beta is out. This version seams to be more accessible than previous versions. In the release notes they say that they improoved the keyboard commands, menu navication and the preference dialogue and maybe much more. I think it is good that the developers of audacity took accessibility seriously and you should download the latest beta and test it and if there are problems you can give feedback. I didn't try previous versions myself so i can't compare the latest version with the other versions but i have this one and it seams to work well.
For those who don't know audacity is open source sound editing software like goldwave, soundforge etc but audacity is free.
The website is http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
If people used previous versions it would be good to hear if this latest one is better.
I normally like audacity, but with the version I have, I have to either record using the headphones or not at all. If I unplug the headphones, the laptop starts making a really annoying echoing or something sort of noise that just gets louder! Otherwise, it records quite well if I use the headphones and it's good to use for putting videos into mp3 format.
thanks for that, might take a look
Thanks Nikos, I'll check it out.
